Last night, went to Sainsbury's to buy vegetables and wine, then caught bus to G's (didn't feel like lugging shopping all that way on foot). Made stew and pasta, which G really liked, and washed up. Watched G finish Max Payne, which is an amazingly pretty game. Dozed off a bit and so didn't play Diablo like I'd intended to. I played several levels of Diablo a few years ago, and watched M finish it. But I got stuck, or lost interest or something. Now I'm really into it again (though it's not really G's sort of game), and I'm down to level 9 or so. Am mainly fighting invisible zombies atm, and fiery bat-things, but also killed an amazingly tough wizard guy who I annoyed by nicking his books. He kept phasing a little way away from me and zapping me with fire bolts; all I could do was run after him and bash him repeatedly. He took an age to kill; I used up all my healing potions, and had to teleport back to town mid-battle to get more. But at last, when I had almost given up hope, he died.
Presume I got lots of XP for him, anyway. Still no sign of the poisoned water quest thing though. Maybe I'll look up on the web where it's supposed to be - I could have missed it, I suppose.
This morning, G actually got up for work at a reasonable time. We met for lunch at Pura (we were the only people there). It was really nice and about as cheap as the PR, and they were showing Grease on their telly too.
Calling tonight! I think I will wear my blue corset.
