Had an extremely quiet day yesterday. In fact, the only person I spoke to all day was the woman at the checkout in Sainsbury's. I worked a bit, made a large stew, ate some, kept some, listened to the radio, went to bed early and read "Cordelia's Honor" for a few hours. It's quite good, but I think I enjoyed "Raft" more.
This evening, I'll go to the Kingston Arms quite early, to try and get a table (M didn't manage to book one in time). Oh God, GT will be there. If I'm really unlucky, EW might be there as well.
My mother sent me a letter updating me on her news, and reminding me to register with a dentist. I have looked up a list of NHS dentists in the local area, and using a map, rated them according to how far from college they are. I should really go and try to register with the top-ranking one this afternoon. I really don't want to. I'm sure they'll say I have to have all kinds of painful and expensive procedures performed, and complain at me for not having a checkup for ten years.
Oh, and someone else I know has emailed me asking me out.

Well, went along to surgery and got an appointment for a couple of weeks. Remarkably painless, really. :-)
