Nov. 2nd, 2003 09:43 pmI haven't said what's happening in my life for some time (though I have been posting lots on my angband journal!). Basically, I've been very busy. G's grandad (who I met once) sadly died recently and we went up to Edinburgh for the funeral, staying overnight with
zotz, who it was good to see again. We gave him a plush minotaur and a copy of Nature at the time.
Yesterday I went to Milton Keynes (not to see Denny or to eat burgers, however, like most people on my friends list!) for an exam coordination meeting for the OU. I got to see Walton Hall, which is OU Central! It was very exciting. I was in a particularly confrontational and sociable mood, and participated fully in the marks discussion, as well as talking to numerous strangers on the 6(!) different trains I had to travel on during the day.
Today I have marked a dozen scripts; tomorrow I will have to do a good many more; on Tuesday and Wednesday I'll have to scriptmark after my rent-paying job; then on Thursday I'll take my scripts over to the Cambridge OU regional centre (due to the postal strike) and then embark on my next batch at the weekend.
The following weekend, my OU Astronomy course begins.
I am happy to be so busy :-) However, angband group readers, don't expect any updates for a while! I haven't time to play roguelikes atm.
