vyvyanxHmm, G eventually got up on Monday about 6pm :-) and we did usual sort of stuff, incl. playing isketch together, until I got tired and went to bed. G joined me about 5-6am, and I became suddenly upset about various aspects of the relationship. We had a difficult conversation, but at least neither of us were drunk during it, and I think it was very constructive in the end.
Tuesday, I came back to college, while G went to T's to get stoned etc. Went to Sainsbury's and bought vodka and avocados (mm!); came back and had a very long bath; got all dressed up for the Calling (full outfit: little black dress, lacy stockings, blue corset, shiny blue boots, shiny blue elbow-length fingerless gloves, shiny collar, lots of makeup). G arrived rather late (T was supposed to be with him, but they were unsurprisingly v. disorganised - I guess it's a lost cause expecting two stoned goths to be punctual :-) and helped me fasten my corset. Went to the Calling in time to hear most of E's set.
Had really good time at the Calling - danced lots (hardly noticed the discomfort of my boots), talked lots, drank a bit, saw people I haven't seen for ages. In particular, Michaela and Marcie, D's two main exes before me, were there. They were both friendly, though I talked more to Marcie. She asked about why I split up with D; I told her some of the reasons, and she said she'd split up with him for very similar reasons. Which I guess is sort of helpful. I don't especially like her as a person, though - she really upset Gina and Barry by making unpleasant comments about Barry in his hearing - saying he had evil vibes coming off him. She told me this was because she was in a very aura-sensitive mood atm - she's very into wicca and spells and stuff - and could sense the fact that Barry is interested in the occult, which she seemed to disapprove of. I still don't think she should have said these things in front of Barry and Gina, though. Gina talked to me unhappily for ages about it afterwards.
Also chatted lots to R about vision, glasses, laser-surgery etc., and a little about his German love. And chatted a bit to O, though I can't quite recall what about. Also briefly to GC, I think, and to KB. And of course to G. Afterwards, we were really hungry, and went to Gardie's to get me some pizza and G another cheeseburger. Then came back to my room, and so to bed. Very good night in all.
This morning, have been pestered by people wanting to clean my windows at some unearthly hour of the morning. I told them to come back when I was dressed, but they haven't returned yet. This is a disadvantage of living in an institution - all sorts of people can get a key to your room, and are entitled to come into it to check, fix or clean stuff whether or not you're around. It doesn't bother me that much though - I'm used to the lack of privacy, and anyway, I appreciate not having to check/fix/clean these things myself!
