Today was interesting. I went to sign on early afternoon (my advisor seemed pleased with my job-hunting efforts - it's nice to be appreciated in your work :-) and then hurried back to accompany G to the Cambridge Piercing Studios for his P.A. I provided moral support, cash, and held his hand during the procedure, which was fascinating to watch. The piercer seemed very skilled, and appeared to have personal experience of a wide variety of piercings (I wonder whether he does his own?!) G was very brave, and it was all over very quickly. Now he has to heal for a couple of weeks. _And_ we're not drinking at the moment. Ah well, I suppose it is Lent :-)
