Wow, the Greens did really well in our ward in the local elections yesterday - almost a quarter of the vote, well ahead of the Tories and only slightly less than the LibDems (Labour won). Over the whole city they got almost 9%, which is cool. Maybe they'll get a seat here some time.

The ol' Lib Dems are doing quite well nationally, around 30% of the England vote or something, apparently their best ever, the Beeb website has a nice breakdown of who got what.

Yep, I've been looking at that. The Greens have been doing well nationally as well - they have 6 seats now in Brighton and Hove, for instance. Worrying gains for the BNP though.

This is good. The Scottish Socialist Party did very well too, apparently, while the Scottish and Welsh nationalists didn't.
