vyvyanxToday, wandered back in intense heat to college. Bought a sherbet fountain to occupy me on the way. Sherbet fountains just don't change, do they? It cost 10p, it comes in the same yellow and red paper packaging as always, and I couldn't get the liquorice tube to work properly any more than I could when I was six. I guess it's reassuring, really.
Had long lazy bath and faffed with my new Indo-European tree. I'm really very pleased with it. Sorted out some clothes that G and I need to clean for Whitby, and packed them up. Went to get bus back to Chesterton, as I didn't feel like walking all that way carrying so much stuff. The 7.15 bus didn't come. Neither did the 7.30 one. Eventually I caught the 8A at about 7.55. Blast these buses. Then in the One Stop, there was an enormous queue; and then I was nearly run over by a car while crossing a side street. The world hates me today, clearly.
