vyvyanxGrr. It doesn't work. I spent ages partitioning and formatting and checking the new disk, copied everything over from the old (repaired) disk, set up LILO to boot from the new disk, rebooted, changed the BIOS to boot from the new disk...and it won't boot. Happily I can still boot from my old disk (just about), but I don't want to rely on it! Oh this is tiresome. Still, I shall go to the Empire house-cooling tonight and moan at people about it - that should make me feel better.
