Last night, my last lurking wisdom tooth finally decided to come in, breaking painfully through my gum while I tried to sleep.  The NHS says they're supposed to come in during the late teens or early 20s.  I'm 47!

Ouch!

Last time I saw the dentist, they opined that mine might be starting to encroach on the roots of the molars, I think the plan is to take some radiographs when I see them next month.

My dentist took some xrays last time I was in, and said they'd be in touch if anything needed doing. Not heard anything :) I assume in September I can see if there was anything interesting at all at least. My main issue is that not having anything to push against the other one at that side has grown rather bigger than it should!

Oh wow! I'm 46 and have been working for some time on the assumption it's never going to show up now!

I hope it doesn't remain painful for long.
