Recently I have been working on my article, and making new dishes that I haven't made before. Inspired by a recent thread on cam.misc, I made gnocchi (for those who followed the thread, mine _did_ float after a couple of minutes - it was very exciting :-). They seem to turn out rather too large and sticky, but taste nice. I'll make them again for my friend A when he comes over for dinner tonight.
I also made lemon sorbet, which was great fun, although I did manage to accidentally zest my knuckle rather than the lemon at one point (ouch). It took a while to freeze, as our freezer box is small and not very powerful, but it worked in the end.
I am cross that Sainsbury's have stopped stocking quorn roasts. I wonder if I can get them anywhere else in Cambridge.
My article is mostly done, and looks very pretty.

see if the Asda at the Beehive does them? Or an own-brand vegetarian roast? They'll probably be cheaper than 'we want to be M&S' Sainsburys

I've never come across any other varieties of vegetarian roast except the Quorn one. I'd certainly try one if I found it.
