Wow, lj is very quiet today. I suppose everyone's at BiCon. It is quite hot here. I've just walked back from the centre laden with shopping, and it's quite a relief to get out of the sun, even though I much prefer heat to cold and wetness. I keep getting odd looks from people in town - I think it must be because I'm wearing my "Kinky Chick" t-shirt which Gina gave me (it's nice and cool in this weather). Two kids yelled and spat chewing gum at me because of it; their friend grinned sheepishly and said hi, though. It seems to be a hit with the homeless, though - two of them commented on how nice it was. All very strange. And I passed an enormous muscled guy in black with serious mirror shades on - walking a chihuahua!

Its not just BiCon - the Discworld convention is this weekend as well :) Infact E-J (my wife) is at DWCon this weekend which means that I'm free to do lots-o-DIY. Except that its so hot right now I'd be insane to do work in the attic - its a nice 36°C (~97°F) up there right now.

Your t-shirt sounds good :) Personally I get a lot of strange looks when I wear my "Yes, I do swallow" t-shirt for some strange reason. Especially if they've first mistaken me for a woman (happens relatively often thanks to people looking at my hair first and my body second) and then realise that I'm a man :)
