Aug. 23rd, 2002 12:20 pmFeel happier today. Should go and pick up more heavy stuff from college today, look some things up in the UL, and do some laundry. G has to go and sign on soon. Tonight we are going to R's - should be fun!
I had very strange sex last night. I was very drunk and I think actually asleep at the start, and my dream (about Blackadder Goes Forth) became all tangled up with the sex, so that I managed to interpret the act as a necessary First World War manoeuvre, in which I was Captain Darling and G was General Melchett. Wrong, wrong... :-)

Date: 2002-08-26 02:52 pm (UTC)The entire cast nonconsensually sodomizing Tarrant. (He just annoys me, OK?) Servalan last, of course, because of her black-widow nature.
WWI slash: ISTR reading that the Germans were much better at kitting out their trenches, locating them outside swamps, etc; apparently some even had carpets in the dug-out shelters. One might imagine a couple of allied soldiers taking cover in such a place during an advance and taking advantage of the unexpected luxury.
Tangentially, I was reading The Economist (http://www.economist.com/) recently and in the Books And Arts section they mentioned the controversy surrounding a recent Russian publication:
The offending book is a novel called "Goloboye Salo" (Blue Lard) which swarms with naughty words and, more provocatively, with the sexual couplings of famous of infamous Russians. In one passage of some length and descriptive detail, we are invited to picture the rut of a cloned Soviet dictator, Joseph Stalin, with a clone of his successor, Nikita Krushchev.
