technotom, robinbloke and simont mostly. Actually I fear I drank too much and said things to ST that I shouldn't have; sorry. Oh yes, my old old friend JC who used to do ASNaC with me as undergrads was there, to my amazement. He hasn't changed a bit (except for shaving off his quiff; he's now entirely bald). He's apparently working at the UL now. Last night he seemed to be accompanied by a bevy of giggly third-years (I'm not quite sure why).
Later, I became annoyed at G for flatly refusing to stop drinking or leave at a sensible time, and then flatly refusing to go to work this morning due to his hangover. He's _still_ in bed recovering from it. Hopefully his work won't mind too much; he's just heard they're all getting a substantial payrise as a result of union activity, which is cool. (He's not even _in_ the union, being on contract, but the rise still applies apparently.)
