vyvyanxGot up around midday, after getting to sleep about 7am. Had bath. Had breakfast. Went to Sainsbury's and bought nice things to eat tonight. Read news, looked at irc, read people's livejournals. Signed accounts for the Tolkien society, and sorted out some accounting errors in them. Posted the form in the internal mail; should get there in time I hope. Listened to Radio 1 and Slayer; played nethack and patience.
G came round to return my spare glasses case and to reclaim the various things he'd left in my room: razors, toothbrush, shoes, box of Stella, book, and the pool cue I gave him for Christmas. He kept saying sorry. I kept trying not to cry. Then he went to the KSR for his friend G's birthday celebration.
I mailed G's friend R to thank him for all the nice things he'd done for us, since I'm unlikely to see much of him now.
Bizarrely, I have been contacted by the publishers of an international Who's Who for 2003. They seem to want to include me in it. I have no idea why; perhaps to do with my research. I'm not going to reply.
Tomorrow I shall go to the New Year's party at Relativity and get very very drunk. Tonight I won't drink anything at all, for the first time since the beginning of December.
