vyvyanxSo, sat up late last night drinking wine on my own and chatting on irc to mbm in London. He was watching a TV program about 1977, and describing it to me on channel. Very strange. At least I fell asleep straight away afterwards. I hate sleeping alone; I get nightmares.
Today, returned book to UL just before it was overdue. Went shopping; bought lots of cheap food in Sainsbury's. Met V there, but she was in a hurry and we didn't really talk much. Also went to Heffers and got two new SF books with my Christmas book tokens: Lois McMaster Bujold's "Cordelia's Honor" (sic) and Stephen Baxter's "Raft". I've read Baxter's "Mammoth" books before, after hearing the guy talk at Eastercon last year. I've not read Bujold before, but lots of my friends recommend her. Also went to Boots, as I had a Christmas token for there as well, and got some black and green nail varnish.
On the news at the moment, they're talking about the Euro. I wish we had Euros too.
