What a strange day. On IRC, encountered a good friend and told him about my break-up. We went to the pub for several hours to talk about it. In the evening I went to a college feast with a guest, T, and got very drunk. We went back to my friend A's room afterwards, with his guest, J., and played truth or dare. In the end, it transpired that J. and T. wanted to spend the night together, so I made myself scarce. Very odd day. Also my partner apparently said to someone else that our break-up put an end to months of pretence. Christ.
