vyvyanxWell, my first batch of OU scripts are done. 120 1-hour essays marked. Results are much more of a bell curve than when I was marking for the University here, which I guess isn't that surprising. The best OU essays are comparable in quality to the best Cambridge essays, though.
Went to see fireworks last night. They were excellent; I think they were the best I've seen since I arrived in Cambridge in 1992 (and I _think_ I've seen them every year since then). The finale was just amazing. Afterwards, went to the Hot Pot with G and R, which was great. Then, back home to watch more B5 (3rd time all the way through this year!).
In other news, this portion of lj seems full of post-Whitby angst and bad feeling. I hope it all clears up soon.
