Jan. 10th, 2004 06:20 pmG and I went to the gig at the Boat Race last night - and so, it seemed, did virtually everyone else I know: I felt like I knew or at least recognised about 90% of the people there. Skelliga were first, and quite enjoyable; then came The Scary Bitches, who were hilarious and definitely my favourite of the night. I'm sure I've heard a couple of their songs somewhere before, but I can't think of when it might have been. Finally were Swarf, who most people rated very highly. I thought they were OK, but nothing special. The music itself was quite listenable-to, but I could have done without the vocalist. Mind you, I hardly ever like female voices in music.

Today I feel very hung over. G and
robinbloke have gone to watch a performance of The Wizard of Oz and will be back quite late; I will make pizza for them afterwards. I think I'll go and play some more Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna now...
