Thanks to those who were able to come to my little birthday gathering last night, and thanks to G for organising it. I had a great time - lovely drink and nibbles, great conversations and games (You Don't Know Jack, won convincingly by acronym, and I Have Never), with a mellow accompaniment of Slayer and Bowie, amongst others :-) It would have been good to have been able to invite more of my friends, but it took about two days' tidying and shifting stuff around in our flat to make enough space for even those who came!

My actual birthday is on Wednesday, but I am currently appreciating the excellent vegetarian marshmallows mobbsy gave me. Yum.

I don't know, but they're called VeganSweets marshmallows, made by Pangea Vegan Products: http://www.veganstore.com - maybe that will help? They contain sugar, corn syrup, agar-agar, carrageenan, soy protein and vanilla - can you safely eat all of those? They are very nice, certainly :-)

Cool; unfortunately the UK vegan store (http://www.veganstore.co.uk/) has sold out of them so I think an order to the US site may be a good plan :)
